About the Little School PTO
The E.E. Little School PTO is made up of each and every family that has a student at the Little School. Whether you donate funds or supplies, attend an event, purchase apparel or support a restaurant night, you are an integral part of our PTO and make our school community such a wonderful, supportive place!
The main mission of the PTO is to work within our school to implement enrichment programs that all of the students enjoy such as author visits, science programs and dramatic historical presentations to name just a few. Our enrichment committee does a fabulous job working with each grade level team to find appropriate curriculum based programs to bring into the classroom. Did you know that the Little PTO also gives every teacher and specialist a stipend every year, subsidizes every single field trip at the Little School, and gives scholarships every year to a Little School Alum graduating from high school?
We do all of this and so much more! Check out some of our biggest priorities and responsibilities below.
ENRICHMENT
Our enrichment committee does a fabulous job working with each grade level team to find appropriate curriculum based programs to bring into the classroom. Last year, students enjoyed a variety of programs like: Sound Play! and Makers and Tinkers with Curious Kids, , Lights & Lasers, anti-bullying assembly Johnny the K, and the Shocking Facts of Electricity.

FUNDRAISING
One of the main responsibilities of the PTO is to raise funds for enrichment programs, school events, and supplemental supplies for students and teachers. Some of our recent fundraisers are Annual Fund Drive, Halloween Bash, Online Auction, Yearbooks, Mother's Day Plant Sale, and the Little Laps Field Day Fundraiser.

TEACHER APPRECIATION
We love our teachers! Each year the PTO organizes a few small ways to show our teachers and staff some love. Working with Room Parents, each grade supplies a breakfast for teachers one Monday a month. During Teacher Appreciation Week each spring, the PTO sponsors a meal or treat every day for the teachers and staff to enjoy in their lounge.
Get involved
All parents at the Little School are welcome to be a part of the PTO! You are welcome to be involved in as much or as little as you would like and there are no requirements on meeting attendance or volunteer hours. Parent involvement is the key to our success!
