The student body of the Little School kicked off Kindness Week with an All School Assembly, "Kids for Kindness." Michael "Tuba" Heatherton motivated the kids to treat others with acceptance and compassion.
The acronym I - C.A.R.E. was presented to emphasize five key aspects of kindness: Inclusion, Courtesy, Acceptance, Respect and Empathy.
Utilizing storytelling, singing, role playing and puppetry, Michael communicated his point with the perfect mixture of message and entertainment. The assembly delivered an important lesson and inspired the students to spread some kindness.
