National Blue Ribbon Award Winner 2019

On Thursday, September 26, The E. Ethel Little Elementary School in North Reading is excited to announce that it has been designated as an Exemplary High Performing School and a National Blue Ribbon School for 2019 by U. S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos. The school is one of 362 schools in the nation and one of six schools from Massachusetts to be recognized in 2019. Thanks to the Little School community (faculty, staff, students, and parents) who work together, always in the best interest of children.

U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos recognizes 362 schools as National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2019. The recognition is based on a school's overall academic performance or progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups. The coveted National Blue Ribbon Schools award affirms the hard work of educators, families and communities in creating safe and welcoming schools where students master challenging and engaging content.
