A Celebration of "Our Golden Tickets to Success"
We were so excited to celebrate all of our Little School teachers and staff during Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week May 2-6.
This year we focused on a Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory theme to celebrate "Our Golden Tickets to Success", our prized teachers and staff members at the Little School!
The teachers and staff started the week with themed decorations inside and outside the school, and a breakfast spread from Perfecto's Caffe including bagel sandwiches, fruit, yogurt and coffee! Tuesday brought notes of thanks from the students and families hand delivered to an adorable Wonka themed mailbox. Wednesday the teachers and staff were treated to a full lunch buffet of sandwiches, salads, and desserts generously provided by Rev Kitchen and Bar and the Harron Family.
Gifts for all were received on Thursday, where five Golden tickets were hidden within special "Lucky Bars", just like in the movie! A big congratulations to our five Golden Ticket winners who received special gift baskets as a prize: Mrs. Brennan (Teacher Grade 2), Mr. Miasserian (Night Custodian), Mrs. Moore (PK Speech Teacher), Mrs. Nickerson (Kindergarten Teacher), and Mrs. Welch (Kindergarten Paraprofessional).
We wrapped up the week with a fun snack bar including a Build Your Own Imagination Mix (trail mix) and Fizzy Lifting Drinks (Ice Cream Soda) buffet, as well as a dress up day celebration for all (including Lucky the Lab)!
We cannot thank all of our Little School families enough for all of their donations and volunteer hours that brought this amazing event to life. We would not be able to do this without you!
