Did you know that the Little School is the only elementary school in North Reading that produces an annual yearbook that features the WHOLE school community? It's a big undertaking, and we need YOUR help to make it happen!
Again this year, we are using Photo Post to collect and organize photos. Please use this link: https://yearbooks2.pixami.com/EELi.../home3/PhotoPost.jsp... to upload.
It is easier to upload in a desktop, but possible on a mobile device. You'll see folders for organizing photos. Please LABEL YOUR PHOTOS with the students and teacher's name (as applicable), and add to the appropriate folder, OR INCLUDE A CAPTION with the names of the students in the photo. This goes a long way towards ensuring all students are in the yearbook! First day of school, trunk or treat, classroom parties, all great photos we want to include
We’ve developed the below FAQ to help guide your yearbook photo uploading!
I have a 5th grader; where should I put photos?
You'll see 3 separate specific folders for grade 5: Grade 5 This Year (for all classroom photos) Grade 5 past (for all photos from K-4 of at-school or school-adjacent activities) and Grade 5 Baby Pictures (one photo for each child, PLEASE LABEL THESE!!)
Additionally, there are many other folders you may want to add pictures to like first day of school, winter concert, 24-25 Misc, etc. Please label all photos if you can!
What grades are in the yearbook?
We feature all grades in the yearbook from pre-k-5th grade. The 5th graders do get some special sections, like their bio, baby pictures, past years class pictures and pages showing their time through the little school.
For grades pre-k-4, the focus is on the current school year, AND includes photos from field day last year (as the yearbook photo window closes before field day this year!)
Please do not add photos from previous grades or school years unless it's for field day OR of the current 5th graders in years past.
For first day of school photos, do you want just kindergarten? Just 5th grade?
For this page, it will be a collage of all students from the first day of school, pre-K through 5! If you have a 5th grader, and have old first day of school photos, please upload those to the Grade 5 Past folder (labeled!)
What are you looking for with yearbook photos?
Great question! Ideally, kid/s should be looking at the camera. It should be at school or a school-related event. Photos from the first day of school at home are welcome, as are field trips, enrichments, class parties, after school at the playground, etc.
Though photos of your individual child are great, we don't have space for multiple single shots of any one child across the pages of the yearbook. Please be selective in submitting those! Pictures with several children are great; remember, we want EVERYONE to see themselves in the yearbook outside of the class picture and individual portrait pages, and we need your help to make that happen!
I took an awesome vacation and my child looks so cute; can I send this for the yearbook?
Nope! Please only include photos of your child at school or school-related events.
My children went to the aquarium on the weekend with other Little School friends, should I send that for the yearbook?
See above!
What about events like sports or scouts? Are those good photos for the yearbook?
No, unfortunately, we need to keep it to Little School and adjacent events!
Should I submit 7 near-identical photos of my child at an event?
No, please don't!
Can you explain how to upload a photo?
Caveat: you can upload from your phone, but it's a lot easier from a computer.
Go to our dedicated yearbook website: https://yearbooks2.pixami.com/EELittleSchool/home3/PhotoPost.jsp?ID=H0WE799224ZV
Find the folder you want to add your photo to; you'll see several folders for 5th grade, grade-level folders for general things and class parties, and other folders named for specific events.
Select "Upload", then "add file"
This will bring you to the caption page; add the kid/s names and teacher's names here, which will help us make sure we have ALL student's represented in the final product!
Close out of that box, and click done. You are all set!!
How should I label my photos?
There are 2 ways you can label photos: either add a caption when you upload to include the kid/s names in the photo and the teacher, or you can save the photo file with that info and it will auto-populate as the file name.
