The week of January 16-19th the Little School will once again be participating in National No Name Calling Week. This is a great opportunity for the entire school to focus on activities that address bullying and name-calling issues. We will also address what we can do to ensure that our learning envirnment is a positive, tolerant and emotionally/physically safe place to learn and play.
Throughout the week, teachers and students will be talking about kindness, name-calling, and bullying. Below are the themes/activities for the week:
- Tuesday, January 16 - Dress like a "Hippie" for peace, love and kindness!
- Wednesday, January 17 - Dress in black for "Black-out Bullying Day!"
- Thursday, January 18 - Wear your Little School attire and we will be having an all-school assembly from "Johnny the K"!
- Friday, January 19 - Wear red, white and blue or Patriots attire because "We are all on the same team!"
We look forward to this fun and important week!
