On Friday, April 5th our 4th grade students were treated to a concert by the Boston Symphony Orchestra held in historic Symphony Hall in Boston. The students were exposed to the music of Berlioz, Prokofiev, and Dvorak in a concert titled “Learning from the Heart.”
The concert was conducted by Maestro Thomas Wilkins. We hope everyone witnessed how powerful live music can be, and that students consider going back to Symphony Hall again. Classical music doesn’t have to be stuffy, it can bring you to the edge of your seat, make you laugh, make you want to dance or even make you cry.
We're so lucky to have one of the world's top orchestras right in our backyard!
