On May 24th, the Little School celebrated art and music at our annual Arts Night. This year's artwork went global, with influences from Asia, Europe, Latin America, Africa and Australia to name a few. From Kente cloth pillows and animal masks from Africa, cherry blossom and landscapes inspired from Asia and weaving based on Latin America, the children's work took us all around the world through art.
The Little School band showcased their instrumental skills with their "On the Radio" performance and throughout the night with solos, duos, and trios playing in the hallways. The Little School chorus wowed us once again with their "You, Me and We" performances of We Are the World, Who are You, This is Me, and Count on Me. Marisa Montana & Matthew Mulcahy entertained us with an amazing rendition of the classic Anything You Can Do. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful art and music program, and thank Mrs. Gomez and Mr. Tatro for all their hard work and dedication to our students.
