Techsploration - Building and Structures
On Monday, March 14th, the Little School 5th grade class enjoyed a Building and Structures Show and Workshop. At the show, Tom from Techsploration demostrates basic building principles using a 10 foot truss bridge, a suspension bridge, a large block arch, and many other props. After the show, students attended a hour-long workshop where they become their own structural engineers, using beams and connectors to build trusses, towers, and bridges.
