Hello Little School Families, 

It is time for a long overdue update after a very busy school year, and we’re not slowing down yet! Registration for our biggest fundraiser of the year, Little Laps, is now open! Register your student and see more details HERE 


As I have stepped into the role of PTO President, this year was filled with laughter, collaboration, creativity and many lessons along the way. I am proud of the PTO Board made up of parent volunteers that have given so much of their time and energy to create a memorable and enriching elementary school experience for all the students at the Little School. I am excited for what lies ahead as we plan out our 2026/2027 school year. And I am hopeful to see many new faces in the process! We currently are a small, but mighty team and are always looking for more hands, ideas and support. On that note, spring means PTO nominations and elections for the following year. All positions are open for nominations, and we anticipate vacancies in the specific roles below:  

(2) Enrichment Chairperson(s):

  1. Responsible for gathering information from various sources regarding educational enrichment programs and events to benefit Little School students.

  2. Submit a schedule of events and budget to the PTO Board and Little School Principal for review.

  3. Coordinate, organize and implement programs and events.

  4. Write grants for funding of enrichment programs.

  5. Work with teachers through the Principal for enrichment input and scheduling of programs.

  6. Distribute, collect and review teachers’ comments regarding enrichment programs.

  7. Prepare and distribute notices of enrichment programs in students’ backpacks.

(1) Hospitality Chairperson(s):

  1. Work with room parent coordinator to ask funds and/or donations for grade-level appreciation events

  2. Plan and early Staff and Teacher Appreciation Week every May

  3. Organize and coordinate volunteers for all hospitality and appreciation events on an as needed basis throughout the school year.

All positions are supported by the Executive Board—President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary—as well as the opportunity to form a committee of additional parent volunteers!
