The Little School PTO's main mission is to implement enrichment programs that all of the students can enjoy such as author visits, science programs, and dramatic historical presentations! On Friday, January 11, five fourth and five fifth graders competed in the National Geographic Geography Bee.
This week, the first graders visited to the Roberts Theater in Boston to see the play The Velveteen Rabbit.
To celebrate family literacy month in November, the Little School will be raising money for a non-profit called Heifer Project International.
The Gloucester Maritime Museum offered our third graders many opportunities to learn about life by the sea.
On Friday, October 5th, kindergartners enjoyed their annual trip to Smolak Farms picking pumpkins and enjoying a day on the Farm.

On Friday, April 5th our 4th grade students were treated to a concert by the Boston Symphony Orchestra held in historic Symphony Hall in Boston.
Third and fourth grade students attended an assembly where they were introduced to whales off the Coast of New England.
On May 12th, the first graders welcomed Curious Kids for an animal engineering makers and tinkers class.
The New England Aquarium came to visit the Preschool and Kindergarten students with their "Tidepools Alive" program.
